Spicy, tart and clear like the mountain air
The gins from the Rugen Distillery are refined over a rock crystal, while the distillates from the Eiger Distillery are run over a stone from the north face of the Eiger, which dates back to the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. The lower air pressure at altitude lowers the boiling point, which enables gentle distillation and preserves sensitive aromas better. The extended distillation time ensures a particularly fine refinement.

A refreshing scent of juniper dominates, accompanied by subtle resinous notes of alpine conifers such as spruce and pine. A hint of lemon balm and mountain mint gives the nose an invigorating freshness, almost like a walk through an alpine herb field.

The first impression is characterized by an intense juniper note, which is directly complemented by the fresh, resinous and spicy aromas of Alpine herbs. The herbs bring complex and slightly bitter but pleasant nuances reminiscent of a mountain herb elixir. A subtle citrus-like freshness keeps the taste lively and well-balanced.
