For
10 years at Rugenbräu AG, Heiko Fahrenbruch quickly gets to the point,
when it comes to his person: "Brewers make happy people". The hobby sailor
knows his way around water. On the water as well as how to refine it and make
and how to make an aromatic beer out of it!
Name: Fahrenbruch
First name: Heiko
Function: Manager Production / Brewmaster
Year of birth: 1968
With Rugenbräu since: 2009
A
good piece of "new home" and almost something like a center of life. Here
I often spend more time here than with my family.
Many
- many - many. Even the sum of small, beautiful moments counts! Especially for
for me was when I was allowed to create the very first popsicle beer - the recipe
from 2011 found many lovers over the years! The popsicle beer 2019, with a
new recipe, but also tastes very good to me and is, along with the Spezial Hell
and the Harder Bock one of my personal favorites from the current
Rugenbräu range.
The
direct communication with employees is the top priority. Otherwise
mainly the telephone and the computer (unfortunately). I also enjoy analyzing and
and "tinkering" in the laboratory.
Openness
and honesty. I myself am sometimes perhaps a little "too honest" direct!
When
someone is treated unfairly.
There
where my family and I feel comfortable for a longer period of time. Since 2009 that is in
Switzerland in Unterseen. Before that it was St. Gallen. Otherwise of course my
original home and birthplace Villingen - Schwenningen.
Rugenbräu
of course! And a good steak or grilled sausage to go with it. I grill all year round
according to my mood... Glacé for my boys Timo and Kai. My wife loves
tiramisu.
I
am a hobby sailor. If there is enough time, I go 1 week per year with disabled
handicapped people on a sailing week. Furthermore, I have great interest in ice hockey
and athletics. These are the hobbies of my sons.
In addition
my wife Iris and I have a 107-year-old house in Unterseen. The constant
gentle renovation is not just a hobby, but a passion for me,
similar to brewing beer. All in all, that's a good balance.
Health
for the family, a full refrigerator, always a "hand's breadth of water under the
keel"
One
hears where I come from! According to the saying: "There are Baden and unsymbadic".
"After my apprenticeship as a brewer and maltster, I soon continued my education in Munich - Weihenstephan to become a master brewer.
Weihenstephan to the diplomierten Braumeister. After the first brewmaster position
in a Bavarian brewery in Upper Franconia, Germany, my hobby of sailing took me to Lake
took me to Lake Constance. Here I spent 10 years in St. Gallen at the brewery
Schützengarten, before I came to Interlaken 10 years ago.
Besides
day-to-day business, I am also involved in a number of projects in the area of technical replacement investments.
investments. For example, in the filling and packaging area. But also new
projects, such as wastewater, are also exciting challenges.
A
good joke for example. I am a cheerful person, I like to make jokes myself.
jokes myself. Give a smile and get a smile!
My
Father has shaped me and unfortunately passed away much too early. Then many
colleagues who taught me manual work in particular. Also
professionally, there is, for example, a brewery boss for whose work I have very great
respect...
Actually
very different depending on the mood. From soft rock to heavy metal and "Die
Toten Hosen" to "Neue Deutsche Welle"...
