The new Brauer Edition No. 4 - the wilder, the better

"Our brewers live their profession with heart and soul. With the brewer editions, we pay special tribute to the craft of our brewers and give them a special place," describes Remo Kobluk, Managing Director of Rugenbräu AG. This year, the brewers at the traditional brewery on Rugen created a new beer based on an idea from the event team and an external godfather: "Close collaboration with the OC and Board of Directors of Oktoberfest Thun led to the idea of brewing a special festival beer for the fall," describes James Robinson, longtime Senior Event Coordinator at Rugenbräu AG.

Oktoberfest godfather

Mischu Baumann, Chairman of the Board of Oktoberfest Thun, is the godfather of the new beer: "The idea for a perfect festival beer led us to Rugenbräu AG. As a beer lover and the proud grandson of a brewer, I was able to contribute my passion and experience to create this unique Festbräu. Together we brewed an autumn beer that will delight beer lovers. Cheers to the festival beer that tells stories and creates memories." Of course, the beer will also be served at Oktoberfest Thun.

Brewer Edition No. 4 - WILDER

"Wilder" (alc. 5.5 % vol.) is a typical beer for the autumn months - with a characteristic aroma and pleasant texture. "Wilder" combines the mild taste with a slight hop bitterness. As a pleasure after an autumn hike, with hearty game dishes, with knuckles and potato salad or simply in good company. The beer is available now at the Rugen "Gnuss-Wält", in retail stores and from selected beverage suppliers.
