The new Brauer Edition No. 3 - RED: the opposite of small-minded

This year, brewer Michel Rieder has taken the lead in developing the Brauer Edition.

Brewer Edition No. 3 - RED

The range of Rugenbräu beers is complemented by the new Brauer Edition with a Red Ale. "Red Ale is particularly popular in Ireland, the British Isles and the USA. In the Bernese Oberland, our RED fits very well. The red color, the top-fermenting yeast, the malty body and the rather discreet hops are a tasty combination. Such a Red Ale is enjoyed in a convivial round with friends. It also has its appeal with a good summer meal," says Michel Rieder, brewer and initiator of this beer. The beer has a somewhat sweet, pronounced malt flavor. The light caramel note and the aroma of roasted barley harmonize with the pleasantly dry finish. The beer goes very well with pasta, pizza or cheese and can also be served as an exciting accompaniment to a dessert.

"All Brauer Editions bear the signature of a person from the team who played a special role in their development," describes Remo Kobluk. The "Eiszapfenbier," which is only available during the cold season, bears the label "Edition No. 1." To complement this, the "Hop Blossom - Brewer's Edition No. 2" is also brewed only in spring and the motto is: "es het solangs het". The "Brauer Edition No. 3 - RED" is available now in the Rugen "Gnuss-Wält", at regional beverage distributors and in retail stores.
